First time visiting this shop and had a great experience. Rob went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a specific set of tires on short notice. Best customer service recd in recent memory to be honest. I was impressed. I will be back.

Robby took amazing care of us. He was able to patch our tire and get us back on the road in less than an hour! On a Sunday! Great service.

Rob and the team at Monro do most of my vehicle maintenance and they are great! Last week, I bought tires from Tire Rack to be installed by Monro. I made an appointment for Wednesday and FedEx pushed my delivery back a day. Rob was very accommodating and moved my appointment to Thursday. Even though they were very busy, they were able to install my tires, allign them and change the oil, so I was able to leave town the next day. I would highly recommend them

Monro is the best. Their people are competent and they are honest. It’s rare to find these days. We’ve been doing to them for probably 20 years because of the consistent excellent service.

I bought a set of snow tires for my 2024 Impreza here and had them installed. After driving a few miles, my tire pressure light came on, and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw how high the numbers were.

I drove back immediately. The very nice man working in the office corrected the issue and apologized. Both he and the man who helped me order my tires yesterday were great.

That said, I will not be returning to this location (or realistically *any* Monro) and would advise others to avoid. Three new tires over inflated (and 2 wildly so) and one under inflated on an AWD vehicle is a huge safety red flag.

I am legit shaken by my experience at the Monroe on Cochran today. My Subaru’s tire pressure monitoring system at minimum saved me from expensive future repairs but quite possibly saved my life—I don’t even want to think what would have happened at highway speeds with one tire at 51 PSI (15 PSI over spec) or if I’d encountered ice (and this IS Pittsburgh in late November…) with the tires this uneven.

That I was allowed to drive away with these PSIs suggests at best incompetent and poorly trained staff and at worst a negligent level of carelessness. If this is how they handle something as routine as a tire installation, how do they handle repairs that require more skill and where shoddy work isn’t immediately apparent?

Go somewhere else. This shop isn’t worth the safety risk.

Edited to add: One more thing: When I checked my receipt, I realized the shop had me sign for a ‘retorque in 25 miles’ without explaining what I was signing—they buried it on the payment screen. I’ve never had another tire shop require this or make it so unclear. I absolutely will NOT be returning to have my lug nuts checked at a shop I can’t trust with basic tire installation. I will be paying another mechanic to babysit their unsafe work. This kind of misleading paperwork is just one more reason to go somewhere else.
